Mysuru to Bengaluru by self-drive car

The Bengaluru–Mysuru expressway makes this the quickest long drive from Mysuru, and our Bannimantap premises are on Bangalore–Mysore Road, on the Bengaluru side of the city.

NH275, the Bengaluru–Mysuru expressway: about 118 km from the Mysuru ring road to Bengaluru's NICE Road, past Srirangapatna, Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagara and Bidadi, then city roads to the centre.

Road notes

  • Tolls: reported at about ₹355 one way for a car from 1 Apr 2026, across three plazas. Toll rates are revised each April, so check the current figure.
  • Since 1 Aug 2023 motorcycles, scooters and three-wheelers are not allowed on the expressway's main carriageway (NHAI notification of 12 Jul 2023). They use the service roads.
  • Time with traffic is about 2.5–3 hours; the expressway alone can take under 2 hours in light traffic.
