Road notes
- The stretch from Kushalnagar to Madikeri climbs into the hills through bends, according to travel reports.
- In recent monsoons Kodagu has banned heavy goods vehicles for part of June and July. Those bans have not applied to cars.
- No state border, so no permit or border tax.
