  • Mysuru to Ooty

    approx. 125–160 km · approx. 3–5 hours · Tamil Nadu

    Ooty sits in the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu. Both usual routes leave Mysuru on the Nanjangud–Gundlupet road and cross the Bandipur and Mudumalai forests before climbing into the hills.

  • Mysuru to Coorg

    approx. 115–120 km · approx. 2.5–3 hours · Karnataka

    Madikeri, the main town of Kodagu (Coorg), is a straight run west from Mysuru on one national highway, and the whole trip stays inside Karnataka.

  • Mysuru to Wayanad

    approx. 130–140 km · approx. 3.5–4 hours · Kerala

    Wayanad is in Kerala, and the usual road from Mysuru crosses the Bandipur forest on NH766 before reaching Sultan Bathery and Kalpetta.

  • Mysuru to Bandipur

    approx. 70–85 km · approx. 1.5–2 hours · Karnataka

    Bandipur Tiger Reserve is the closest of the forest trips from Mysuru; its reception is on NH181, the road to Ooty, just past Gundlupet.

  • Mysuru to Bengaluru

    approx. 142–145 km · approx. 2.5–3 hours · Karnataka

    The Bengaluru–Mysuru expressway makes this the quickest long drive from Mysuru, and our Bannimantap premises are on Bangalore–Mysore Road, on the Bengaluru side of the city.

  • Mysuru to Chikmagalur

    approx. 170–185 km · approx. 4–5 hours · Karnataka

    Chikkamagaluru is the longest of these drives from Mysuru, north-west through Hassan and Belur, and it stays inside Karnataka.
